Meet the Team
Target Psychology Limited... was formed by Maxine Taylor and Kelly Paddock. Together they have decades of experience working in this field and are dedicated to providing an impeccable, seamless service. Maxine and Kelly enjoy the challenges that come with working to provide assessment reports and have an understanding of the complexities and sensitivity that is involved. A professional, compassionate and reliable service can be expected when dealing with Target Psychology Ltd.

A little bit more about our Team...
Maxine Taylor, Director
Max started her career working for The Children’s Society, primarily supervising contact between children and parents who may pose a risk to their safety, preparing child victims for giving evidence in Court and assisting in the development of services for children. She has a BSc(Hons) Applied Psychology (First Class), MSc Forensic Psychology (Distinction) and a PG Cert. in Advanced Research Methods (Distinction).
For ten years, Max worked for the National Probation Service in the South West, her primary role being the assessment and treatment of sexual offenders. Max returned to the north in 2011 and for five years worked as Business Manager for Dr Clive Reading, whom she first met 20 years earlier when they were both members of the Northern Circuit Domestic Violence Steering Group.
In her free time Max loves socialising with friends and family, walking her dog and caring for her six hens. Along with her daughter Olivia, she is also a keen drag racer and competes all over the country.
Her favourite quote is: "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love."
What Kelly Says about Max: "You won't meet someone more dedicated and passionate in life and work. Max brings these in abundance to her work while always bringing sparkle and smiles with her effervescent humour."
Kelly Paddock, Director
Kelly began her career in Information Technology, working for an IT training company that specialised in helping people return to work. Starting out as the company administrator, she later progressed to a training advisor role after completing her D32/D33 certificates. Kelly took great pride in supporting individuals as they developed new skills and prepared to re-enter the workforce.
Kelly left that company after 8 years hoping to find a new challenge and was, in 2004, hired by Dr Clive Reading, Consultant Psychologist, as his PA. During her time working with Dr Reading, Through her experience, Kelly learned the intricacies of family law assessments from a psychological point of view and built a clear understanding of what both solicitors and clients need during these processes.
In her spare time, Kelly can be found in the gym strength training. Kelly also enjoys spending time with her young family and walking her beloved pup and going to as much live music as pennies will allow!
What Max has to say about Kelly: "Kelly is awesome at what she does and every associate will second that. If you look up the words 'efficient' and 'accomplished' in the dictionary, there are pictures of Kelly next to the definitions. She is the yin to my yang."
Jessica Rostron, Office Manager
Having worked with Jess previously, she was our first choice when Target began expanding its business. Fortunately, she said yes! Jess has since become an essential part of the team—always reliable, efficient, and a joy to work with.
In her spare time, Jess is currently renovating her second home and enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
